New for 2012, Jazz Club series is a fresh adaptation of Gerstein's fascination with Jazz music that was explored in the large wall sculptures series "Blue note" and "Jazz in the City". Trumpet player is a homage to the great trumpet players of the jazz era. It captures the movement and the blasting sound of the trumpet as only Gerstein knows how to capture. The front side is a colorful cool trumpet player with his sunglasses on. The back side is a more abstract shapes representing the inspiration and sounds he makes.
