A new exhibition of David Gerstein new works just opened at Momentum Gallery in Knokke, Belgium. The exhibition entitled "The new exclusive sculptures" will remain open in the next few weeks and is free to visit of course. Champion is a brand new sculpture by David Gerstein released October 2012. This sculpture is a double sided print on metal and is one of the largest objects Gerstein has ever created as part of the free standing objects. Here you can see the other side of this same piece -

This has been a pretty eventful week for us at GersteinART. Here is a round up of this week's highlights - July 7th 2012.

1. World famous publishing house - SKIRA releases a large scale book (280 pages) about David Gerstein's work. The book entitled Past and Present is now available on Amazon and would soon be available here on GersteinART. Gerstein said about the book:

"I am very pleased that SKIRA has chosen to make this book, as it is one of my favorite art publishers and I am thrilled to have this book out".

3. A large-scale sculpture has been placed outside Gerstein Gallery in Tel Aviv, and is a part of the wonderful exhibition "The Passion for Shoes" that is currently on at Gerstein Gallery.

One of the world's best publishing companies for art books - Skira, has just released a brand new 280 page book covering decades of works by David Gerstein. The book entitled "Past and Present" is out today and already available on Amazon.

Jazz Club by David Gerstein 2012

David Gerstein has had a busy 2011, touring the world opening various solo exhibitions while still finding the time to create new works and release fresh wall sculptures and small objects as well. Today Gerstein announced a release of a new series of small objects simply entitled 'Jazz Club'.

Following the ever popular Blue Note and Jazz in the city wall sculpture series, Gerstein adapted the themes into smaller sculptures which would each feature a different Jazz player and instrument. Each object has two coloured sides, the front being more figurative and the back more abstract, capturing the music and motion associated with the art of Jazz.
